Warren Arman was the first inductee in the Bismarck State College Hall of Fame. Mr. Arman enrolled at Bismarck State College in 1953 and led the Mystics to the only NDIAC Conference Basketball Title in the school's history.
Warren averaged 20.2 points per game and the Mystics advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was an NDIAC All-Conference selection, named to the North Dakota College All State Team, and was both an NJCAA All-Region XIII selection as well as making the Region XIII All-Tournament Team. For his accomplishments during the 1953-1954 season, Warren was named to the 1954 NJCAA All American Team and thus became Bismarck State College's first All American selection. Mr. Arman was inducted into the North Dakota State University Hall of Fame in 1984 and the North Dakota Amateur Basketball Hall of Fame in 1989. Bismarck State College is proud to host this annual tournament in honor and memory of Warren M. Arman.
