Coach Corby McGlauflin is entering his second season during the 2017-18 school year. During his first season, the Mystics posted a 33-13 record while winning the Mon-Dak Conference tournament. The Mystics were also NJCAA Region XIII Champions. Coach McGlauflin came to the Bismarck State after spending three seasons at NCAA Div. II University of Mary as the team’s pitching coach. Prior to the University of Mary, he was an assistant coach for three years at Sioux City North High School, which included three conference championships and a Class 4A state title in 2009.
A native of Sioux City, Iowa, Corby pitched four seasons at Southwest Minnesota State University where he finished his college career tied for 3rd in saves and 8th in appearances in school history. He earned his bachelor’s degree from SMSU and his master’s degree in sports and physical education administration at University of Mary.
