The Bismarck State College (BSC) men's cross country team secured an impressive 3rd place finish at the Jimmie XC Invitational. Competing against several four-year programs, the NJCAA Division II 8th ranked team showcased their ability to rise to the challenge and deliver outstanding performances.
Leading the charge for the Mystics was Morgon Brindley, who claimed 6th place with a remarkable time of 26:10.0. His performance set the tone for the team. Ivar Martell followed suit, finishing 18th with a time of 26:57.6, closely trailed by Brody Ferderer, who secured the 19th spot with a time of 27:00.8.
Peyton Sims contributed significantly to the team's success, crossing the finish line in 28th place with a time of 27:32.6. Rounding out the scoring for the Mystics, Dalton Fleckstein completed the race in 33rd place, clocking in at 28:03.0.
Next up for the Mystics, they return to Bismarck to compete in the Marauder Open at McDowell Dam on October 11.
