Bismarck State College's men's rodeo team continues to demonstrate the skill as they clinched first place in Fort Dodge this weekend. This victory adds to the team's growing list of achievements and underscores their status as formidable contenders in the collegiate rodeo circuit.
Leading the charge was
Cael Hilzendeger, who delivered a stellar performance by seizing first place in steer wrestling. Hot on his heels was teammate
Tyler Hansen, who secured the second place spot, giving the Mystics the top two spots in the category. Hansen's prowess didn't stop there; he also earned an impressive second place in tie down roping, demonstrating his versatility and skill across multiple events.
In the team roping event,
Hadly Erickson showcased his precision, finishing strong with a third place win.
Mark Sanquist and
Seth Berg would finish second and fourth, respectively, in bareback riding, helping to secure the Mystics team victory.
Next the team will host the Mystics Stampede Rodeo, set to take place at the Dale Pahlke Arena on October 18 and 19.
