The Bismarck State College Mystics women's track and field team delivered a series of solid performances at the Mike Thorson Open.
Leading the charge for the Mystics was Priviladge Bower, who sprinted to a remarkable 2nd place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.65 seconds. Bower demonstrated her versatility and endurance by also securing 6th place in the 200-meter dash, clocking in at 25.96 seconds.
Adding to the team's success, Tiana Culmer also competed in the 60-meter dash, achieving a commendable 6th place finish with a time of 7.99 seconds.
In the 60-meter hurdles, Dedra Wood showcased her agility and speed, securing 5th place with a time of 9.62 seconds.
Aliya Schock represented the Mystics in the 400-meter race, achieving an 8th place finish with a time of 1:00.35.
The field events also brought success to the Mystics, with Makayla Whitfield leaping to a 4th place finish in the triple jump, covering a distance of 10.87 meters. Close behind, Alexia Anderson secured 5th place with a jump of 10.53 meters, highlighting the strength and depth of the team's field athletes.
