The Bavendick Center, completed in April 2026, is the home of Bismarck State basketball, volleyball and wrestling. Affectionately dubbed “The Bav,” the Bavendick Center will open its doors prior to the 2026-27 season, replacing the historic Armory as the Home of the Mystics.
The multi-million dollar facility is adjacent to the Jack Science Center and the MDU Resources Community Bowl, near the center of BSC's vibrant campus. It features locker rooms, a massive strength and conditioning room, wrestling room, golf simulator, offices, singing room and more.
Named in honor of former Mystic student-athlete and longtime benefactor, Frank Bavendick, the arena seats 2,000 and is among the top home courts in the entire NAIA.
