Bismarck State College Mystics Excel at Marauders Indoor Opener

The Bismarck State College Mystics men's track and field team showcased a series of impressive performances at the Marauders Indoor Opener, held this past weekend. Demonstrating skill and determination, the Mystics athletes delivered remarkable results across various events.

Nathan Mathern led the charge with an outstanding victory in the 60-meter dash, clocking in a swift time of 6.83 seconds. His teammate, J'Noy Davis, secured a respectable 5th place finish with a time of 7.02 seconds.

In the 60-meter hurdles, Nicholas Pegors clinched first place, crossing the line in 8.62 seconds, adding another victory to the Mystics' tally.

The 300-meter race saw Justin Zulu and J'Noy Davis put up a strong fight, finishing 4th and 6th with times of 35.68 and 35.75 seconds, respectively.

Cayden Kraft delivered an impressive performance in the 400-meter race, taking first place with an outstanding time of 50.11 seconds. Harrison Cobb continued the Mystics' winning streak by claiming first place in the 600-meter race with a time of 1:30.61.

Jack Koppelsloen added to the Mystics' list of victories by winning the 800-meter race in a time of 1:58.35.

In the mile event, four Mystics athletes finished among the top ten. Morgon Brindley led the group in 3rd place with a time of 4:32.45, followed by Ivar Martell in 5th (4:35.06), Dalton Fleckstein in 6th (4:37.92), and Djiby Diallo in 8th (4:38.46).

Peyton Sims demonstrated endurance and skill in the 3000-meter race, finishing 4th with a time of 9:12.24. In the field events, Eli Hallwood showed his prowess by securing 4th place in the pole vault with a height of 4.00 meters.
