Mystics Finding Success During Indoor Season

The Bismarck State College Mystics women's track and field team delivered a series of impressive performances at the Marauders Indoor Opener this past weekend. Competing against a talented field, the Mystics showcased their prowess across various events, earning notable placements.

Priviladge Bower led the way in the sprint events, securing a 3rd place finish in the 60-meter race with a time of 7.91 seconds. Dedra Wood demonstrated her agility in the 60-meter hurdles, taking 4th place with a time of 9.23 seconds.

Makayla Whitfield excelled in the 200-meter race, claiming 2nd place with a swift time of 26.91 seconds. Teammate Brynn Fuller also performed well, finishing 6th with a time of 27.26 seconds. In the 800-meter race, Paysha Rex earned a strong 3rd place finish, clocking in at 2:36.86. Ava Stafford rounded out the middle-distance events with an 8th place finish in the mile, completing it in 5:30.26.

Whitfield continued her success in the field events, securing 2nd place in the long jump with an impressive leap of 5.57 meters. In the triple jump, Alexia Anderson leaped to 3rd place with a distance of 11.20 meters, while Dedra Wood finished 5th with a jump of 10.77 meters.
