Will Kaigler is entering his second year of coaching at Bismarck State College.
During his first year with the Mystics, he coached Alexia Anderson to an All-American finish at nationals in the triple jump (8th place). She also qualified for nationals in the long jump along with her teammate Makayla Whitfield. Alexia qualified for outdoor nationals in the triple jump as well.Â
William Kaigler is originally from Tracy, California. He attended San Joaquin Delta College, graduating in 2014, before attending the University of Mary where he graduated in 2016. He was a member of the track and field team during his entire collegiate career and primarily competed in the long jump and triple jump.
During his freshman year at San Joaquin Delta, he won the conference championship for triple jump and placed fourth the following year. During his time at UMary, he secured multiple top-ten finished at the Division II National Finals. In 2015, he placed eighth at the Indoor Nationals and sixth at the Outdoor Nationals in triple jump. In 2016, he placed fifth at the Indoor Nationals and seventh at the Outdoor Nationals. His triple jump personal record at the conclusion of his career was 48 feet, 6 inches.Â
