Mystic Teams Shine at NJCAA Half Marathon Championship

The Bismarck State College cross country teams showcased exceptional talent and determination at the NJCAA Half Marathon Championship, held recently. Competing against top-tier teams from across the nation, the BSC men's and women's teams delivered impressive performances.

The BSC men's team achieved an admirable 11th place finish out of 27 participating teams. With over 170 individual runners in the competition, BSC's Morgon Brindley led the team by securing 24th place with an outstanding time of 1:09:57.7. His teammates, Brody Ferderer and Ivar Martell, also delivered strong performances, finishing 54th with a time of 1:14:28.2 and 62nd with a time of 1:15:29.0, respectively.

Meanwhile, the BSC women's team displayed remarkable prowess by capturing 6th place out of 20 teams. Ava Stafford spearheaded the women's team effort with a 24th place finish, clocking in at 1:30:39.0. Paysha Rex and Lindsey Schroeder added to the team's success with commendable times of 1:33:12.2 and 1:39:51.5, finishing 30th and 57th, respectively.
