BISMARCK, ND – The Mystic women kicked off their cross country season at the Marauders Invitational held at McDowell Dam Recreation Area.
The team took on the six-kilometer race and finished in fourth-place with a score of 106.

The first finisher for the Mystic women was junior
Ava Stafford, who secured 11th place with a remarkable time of 22:46.47. Sisters Macy and
Brynn Crane were the next two Mystics across the line as they nabbed 31st and 34th place, respectively.
The Mystics' final two-point scorers were
Paysha Rex, who placed 38th, and
Rita Wise Spirit in 46th, who just beat out teammate
Alexis Ritzman in 47th to be the final point scorer. The top six for the Mystics were separated by just over five minutes.
The Mystics next meet will be in two weeks as they head to Medora, ND to compete in the Blue Hawk Invitational hosted by Dickinson State (N.D.). The meet takes place at Badlands Ministries (3892 Bible Camp Road), the women run first at 10:00 a.m., followed by the men at 10:45 a.m.
