BISMARCK, N.D. – The Bismarck State College women's wrestling team is commanding national attention ahead of the 2026-27 season, anchored by their pair of 2025-26 All-Americans ranked among the best in the country for this season. In the recently released preseason NAIA National Individual Rankings, the Mystics showcase two top-five wrestlers poised to make a massive impact on the national stage, just as they did in their first year at BSC.
Leading the charge for Bismarck State is standout senior Rei Ogden, who claims the No. 2 national ranking in the 124-pound weight class. Ogden enters the season with a commanding 62 total points, putting her squarely in the conversation for a national title right behind Indiana Tech's Rose Kaplan. Ogden's position highlights her as one of the most dangerous and technically sound competitors in her bracket.
Joining her in the top tier is sophomore Alexis Schneider, who secures the No. 4 spot nationally at 138 pounds. Schneider locked in 56 total points in the preseason rankings, positioning her on the heels of the division's elite and giving the Mystics a powerhouse anchor in the middle weights.
With two premier athletes firmly embedded in the national top five, Bismarck State has established itself as a program to watch as they prepare to hit the mats and build on this high-caliber momentum heading into their second year as a program.
Make sure to check the women's schedule for information on how to stream and attend the upcoming duals.
