Bismarck State’s athletics department is responsible for ensuring that the college’s athletic visual identity is clear and consistent. Any publication or media displaying a Mystics logo intended for an external audience must be approved by the Sports Information Office.

Interviews: All interviews with coaches, student-athletes and staff members must be arranged through the Sports Information Department. After games, matches, and other athletic events, locker rooms are generally off limits to members of the media. Player and coach interviews, however, may be conducted outside locker room entrances or on the playing surface after a minimal 10-minute cooling-off period for participants.

Practices: Patriots practices are open to the media as long as one provides an advance notice of attendance.

Game Day Coverage and Press Passes: Credentials are available to any media member who completes the credential request form at least 24 hours before game time. The Sports Information Office will provide rosters, statistics, and media guides prior to games and statistical information immediately following each contest.

Bavendick Center Media Access / Table Space: Games at the Bavendick Center will require credentials for ALL external media. Please inform the Sports Information office if you need working space at ANY BSC home game at least 24 hours prior to game time. We will work to accommodate any and all media within our facility. Media without credentials or reserved seats will be asked to leave the restricted areas to allow for game day personnel to fulfill their duties.

Press Conferences: In the event of a press conference, the primary media covering the College's Athletics will be notified as far in advance as possible. To be added to the primary media list, contact the Sports Information Department.

Game Programs, Game Notes, and Media Information: Pre-game information may be obtained from the Sports Information Department. If notes, programs, etc., are not available, the Sports Information Department will assist members of the working media in any way possible to ensure accurate reporting.

Technology: At all BSC Athletic Events, internet access will be made available to members of the working media. Printed stats are also available upon request.

External Broadcasts: Any visiting radio/TV broadcasts must reserve their seating at least two weeks in advance of the covered event. While late-comers are welcome, seating can not be guaranteed. For volleyball, basketball, and wrestling, one spot will be reserved for visiting radio, whether previous arrangements have been made or not.

Photographers: The Sports Information Department photographs the majority of Mystics home games. These photographs are made for use of media, visiting SIDs, and will be made public to student athletes and families at the conclusion of the season. Photographers must apply for credentials to access games at the Bavendick Center and shoot from either baseline. For all other sports, standard shooting spots may be utilized.

Live Stats/Live Video/Live Audio: All home Bismarck State Athletic events will be live-streamed via video. Live stats will be available at all home volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball games. In addition, live play-by-play audio commentary will be available for many home athletic events. Go to Mystics Live to watch the live video, live statistics, and listen to the live audio.
