BISMARCK, N.D. – Piper Harris' all-around game on Friday led the Bismarck State College Mystics to their fourth straight win, a 70-56 win over University of Jamestown JV at the Armory.
Harris had team highs in points (20), rebounds (7) and steals (4) and made 7 of 10 shots from the field. That number included a 5-for-7 effort from 3-point range. As a team, the Mystics made 10vof 34 long-range shots. The shot just 36 percent from the field.
Sydney Gustavsson added 17 points, five rebounds and four assists. She also had three of the Mystics' 13 steals. Ashton Kinnebrew netted 14 points and three steals and Rozalind Strong had 10 points and five rebounds off the bench.
Jaylin Cotton had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Jimmies, who struggled mightily from 3-point range. They made just 6 of 31 shots (19 percent). The Mystics put the game away in the first half by taking a 47-19 halftime lead.
BSC's next game is a Mon-Dak Conference game Sunday at noon against Dakota College at Bottineau.
