MILES CITY, Mont. – Bismarck State College pounded out two more MonDak Conference baseball wins on Monday to extend its winning streak to 13 games. The Mystics beat Dakota College at Bottineau 27-13 and 12-2 Monday to improve to 13-3 in the conference and 22-4 overall.
Every player in the BSC lineup scored at least two runs in the opener. JJ Ritter doubled twice and scored four times. Jordan Tucker had a three-run homer and scored twice. Darion Alexander, Brennan Phillips and Wyatt Tweet each scored three runs. Alexander and Carson Zimmel each blasted a three-run homer and Tweet drove in three runs.
Tucker opened the second game with a homer and Jack Maznio joined the hit parade with a three-run blast in the fifth inning. Maznio, Tucker and Riley Pearce scored runs apiece to make a winner of starter Aaron Breitbach.
The Mystics will play their long-awaited home opener April 26 against Miles Community College at Haaland Field in Bismarck. They go back to Glendive, Mont., to play Dawson Community College on April 27 and to Wahpeton to play North Dakota State College of Science on April 29. They return home to meet Williston State College on April 30.
