Bismarck State College women's basketball returned to the court in their first game of 2024, but could not start the year with a win. The Mystics would fall to Lake Region State College 43-55.

Harys Beauchamp would lead the Mystics scoring 12 points and pulling down nine rebounds. Piper Harris would also have a strong game, as she would play all 40 minutes, adding ten points, eight rebounds, and dealing six assists.

The Mystics have a record of 2-15 overall and 1-7 in conference. The Mystics return home to face Dakota College at Bottineau on January 15.
