The Bismarck State College Mystics volleyball team delivered an impressive performance on Homecoming night, securing a decisive 3-0 victory against Miles Community College. The win clinches the 2024 Mon-Dak conference title for the team.

 

The Mystics dominated with game scores of 25-19, 25-17, and a nail-biting 27-25 in the final set. Leading the charge was Reese Duchsherer, who showcased her offensive prowess with 11 kills, setting the tone for the Mystics' offensive strategy.

 

Caton Pearcy also made a significant impact with a dual threat, contributing 9 kills, demonstrating her precision with 3 service aces, and maintaining defensive strength with 13 digs. Delany Deschamp orchestrated the offense, racking up 21 assists, while Kate Zimmer added 19 assists.

 

Shayna Roach's performance from the service line proved pivotal, as she fired 4 service aces. Chelsa Krom's defensive efforts were notable, as she assisted on 4 blocks. Also key for the Mystics defense was Maya Vibeto who had 25 digs.

 

The Mystics overall record is 22-4, and they are 11-1 in conference.

 

The Mystics host Dickinson State JV on October 23, as they prepare for post season play in November.
