The Bismarck State College Mystics men's basketball team experienced a challenging game, falling to Northwest College with a score of 81-87. Despite a strong start, the Mystics struggled in the second half, unable to maintain their lead against a resilient Northwest College team.
Leading the charge for the Mystics was standout performer Germaal Forde, who delivered an impressive performance off the bench. Forde contributed a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while also adding in 3 steals.
Avery Wesley and Jackson Birmingham also made significant contributions, each adding 13 points to the Mystics' total. Birmingham, in particular, showed his all-around game with 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
David Shilling was another key player, coming off the bench to add 13 points and 4 rebounds.
The Mystics are 3-7 on the season and host Dickinson State University JV on December 4.
