Women's Basketball Starts Season Strong

The Bismarck State College Mystics women's basketball team has opened their season with a commendable performance at the Buster Gillis Mon-Dak Tip Off event, finishing with a 2-1 record.

The Mystics faced a challenging start with a 59-77 loss against Williston State College. 

However, the Mystics bounced back in their second game, securing a victory against United Tribes Technical College with a score of 90-81. The game saw standout performances from Aleah McPherson, who led the team with an outstanding 33 points and 4 steals. Harys Beauchamp contributed significantly with 17 points, while Kali Dauenhauer added 15 points and 8 rebounds. Jaiden Baker also contributed 13 points.

The Mystics continued their winning streak in the third game, defeating Dakota College at Bottineau 91-82. Aleah McPherson once again spearheaded the team's efforts with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals. Kali Dauenhauer delivered a versatile performance with 20 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds, while Harys Beauchamp added 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.
