In an exhilarating display of determination, the Bismarck State College Mystics volleyball team triumphed over the North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) in a gripping five-set match to seize the Region XIII championship title. The match kept fans on the edge of their seats with its intense back-and-forth action, culminating in a decisive victory for the Mystics.

The Mystics battled fiercely against a formidable NDSCS team, capturing the championship with scores of 21-25, 26-24, 13-25, 25-15, and 15-13. This victory not only highlights the Mystics' resilience and determination but also secures their place in the upcoming District Championships against Central Community College - Columbus starting November 8.

Reese Duchsherer was a standout performer, leading the team with an impressive 18 kills. She also contributed defensively with two block assists and one solo block. Caton Pearcy showcased her versatility on the court, achieving 16 kills and 15 digs, providing a crucial backbone to the Mystics' defense and offense.

Asiah Gross added to the team's offensive power with 11 kills, playing a key role in the pivotal moments of the match. Delany Deschamp and Kate Zimmer orchestrated the team's offense with precision, each recording 27 assists. Zimmer also supported the defense with 14 digs.

Maya Vibeto was exceptional in the back row, leading the team with 34 digs, providing stability and consistency throughout the match. Chelsa Krom made a significant impact at the net with four block assists, one solo block, and nine kills, contributing to both the offensive and defensive efforts.

The Mystics overall record is 25-4, and they are 11-1 in conference.
