Mystics Make Big Strides During Indoor Season

The Bismarck State College Mystics women's track and field team had a strong showing at the UMary Winter Classic.

Priviladge Bower delivered an impressive performance by winning the 60 meter race with a remarkable time of 7.73 seconds. The event witnessed strong competition, with Aliya Schock securing 4th place with a time of 8.00 seconds, closely followed by Makayla Whitfield in 5th place at 8.07 seconds, and Aisha Zaffino in 6th place at 8.14 seconds.

In the 60 meter hurdles, Dedra Wood showcased her skills by achieving a commendable 4th place finish with a time of 9.17 seconds.

Bower continued to demonstrate her athletic prowess by taking 6th place in the 200 meter race, clocking in at 26.35 seconds. Makayla Whitfield also performed well, finishing 7th with a time of 26.64 seconds.

The 1000 meter race saw Paysha Rex claim 3rd place with a time of 3:19.26. Teammates Kaitlyn Bancroft and Sophia Fafard also delivered strong performances, finishing in 5th place at 3:41.29 and 6th place at 3:44.71, respectively.

Ava Stafford made her mark in the 1 mile race, finishing 3rd with a time of 5:29.20.

In the field events, Alexia Anderson impressed with a 3rd place finish in the long jump, achieving a distance of 5.41 meters.
