MANDAN, N.D. – The Bismarck State College rodeo teams gave the home crowd plenty to cheer about over the weekend, sweeping both the men's and women's team titles at the Mystic Stampede held Friday and Saturday at Dale Pahlke Arena at the Dakota Community Bank & Trust Rodeo Grounds in Mandan.

For the women, Addison Salverson earned Reserve Champion All-Around, capping another strong weekend that included top-five finishes in multiple events.

Program Momentum Builds
Head coach Jon Peek praised the collective effort that pushed both teams to the top.
"To win both team titles at home, against strong competition, shows the hard work these student-athletes have been putting in," Peek said. "Every point mattered, and everyone contributed."
The Mystic Stampede marked the first time this season that both BSC teams have finished atop the standings in the same rodeo, a significant milestone for a program that continues to climb the regional rankings.
Bismarck State will return to action next weekend when the Mystics travel to Fort Dodge, Iowa, for the Triton Stampede, the final fall event of the Great Plains Region schedule. The rodeo is hosted by Iowa Central Community College and will take place on Friday, Oct. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 11, with slack set for 9 a.m. and evening performances set for 6 p.m. both days.
