HELENA, Mont. – Rocky Mountain (Mont.) and Bismarck State (N.D.) were listed on the fifth installment of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women's Basketball awards, announced by the conference office Monday.
Kennedy Stormer, a senior guard, was selected as the Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
On the week, the Mandan-native racked up 12 steals (3.0 steals per game), including five steals in both games against NCAA Division II opponents, Jamestown (N.D.) and Minot State (N.D.). She also averaged 5.0 defensive rebounds per game as the Mystics played four games for the week. Stormer had seven defensive rebounds in BSC's 93-88 upset victory over No. 17-ranked Rocky Mountain (Mont.).
This is Stormer's first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award, and the first award received by any Mystic basketball player since the school joined the conference earlier this year.
Five games into the season, Stormer currently leads the team in steals per game with 2.6 and is tied for the lead in rebounds per game with 5.6. She is also the offensive leader for the Mystics, tallying 19.8 points per game, including 17 in their victory over Rocky, and 24 in their narrow 66-63 loss against No. 14 Carroll (Mont.).
Up next for her and the women's team will be a short road trip to face Dickinson State (N.D.) on Friday, Nov. 28, at 6 p.m. CT. That game kicks off a string of seven consecutive road games before they return to the Armory to host Montana Tech on Friday, Jan. 2, at 5 p.m.
