The Bismarck State College (BSC) Mystics women's basketball team kicked off their postseason campaign with a commanding victory over Williston State College, finishing with a score of 97-85. The Mystics took an early lead, outscoring the Tetons 31-14 in the first quarter. This decisive start set the tone for the rest of the game, as BSC maintained their advantage until the final buzzer.
Leading the charge for the Mystics was Jaiden Baker, who delivered a stellar performance with 28 points. Baker's all-around game also included 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals.
Harys Beauchamp continued her outstanding season by adding yet another double-double to her achievements. Beauchamp contributed 22 points and dominated the boards with 13 rebounds.
Adding to the scoring, Aleah McPherson had a strong offensive showing, netting 23 points and helping to keep the Mystics ahead. Kali Dauenhauer also made a significant impact, contributing 11 points and 6 rebounds.
