Bismarck State College (BSC) is thrilled to announce that Brielle Wrangham, a freshman standout on the BSC softball team, has been named the Mon-Dak Softball Player of the Week. Wrangham, who plays both shortstop and catcher, has been recognized for her exceptional performance on the field last week.
Wrangham played in six games, achieving a .600 batting average by going 12-for-20 at the plate. Her performance was highlighted by an impressive collection of 5 doubles, 1 home run, and 15 RBIs. In addition, Wrangham scored 14 runs, stole 3 bases, and was walked 5 times, all while maintaining her composure and not striking out once.
Hailing from Bismarck, North Dakota, Wrangham is a proud graduate of Bismarck High School. Her contributions to the BSC team have been invaluable, showcasing not only her athletic prowess but also her dedication and hard work. This recent accolade marks her second time being named the Mon-Dak Player of the Week, the first being in February of this year.
The Mystics are 23-16-1 overall and 11-9 in conference.
