BISMARCK, N.D. – The Bismarck State College women's basketball team, under the direction of 13th-year head coach Jason Harris, has announced its schedule for the 2026-2027 season, setting the stage for an unforgettable debut season in the spectacular new Bavendick Center.
Heading into the new campaign, the Frontier Conference released its preseason coaches' poll, ranking the Mystics 9th out of 12 teams. The ranking gives the squad a clear target as they look to surprise the league and build on last year's foundation.
"This is something very exciting, not just for us but for the community. They've really embraced it. When teams come and play in here, they're going to really enjoy the atmosphere and the environment we create." Harris states about the new Bavendick Center.
The Mystics will open their second season in the Frontier Conference and the NAIA on Wednesday, Oct. 28, making their highly anticipated home debut at the Bavendick Center as they host an exhibition against Jamestown (N.D.). Following the home opener, they'll head to New Town, N.D., for a pair of non-conference neutral-site matchups to officially kick of the NAIA season. They will take on Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) on Friday, Nov. 6, followed by UMary (N.D.) on Saturday, Nov. 7.
The squad will mark a new era of Mystics athletics with their inaugural conference game inside the Bavendick Center on Friday, Nov. 20, at 5 p.m. against in-state rival, Dickinson State (N.D.).
The 2026–27 schedule features 27 total varsity games, including 13 home contests. Single-game tickets are available for purchase. Fans interested in season tickets should visit the Bavendick Center webpage to complete the contact form.
