NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the men's and women's track & field scholar teams and All-Academic athletes Monday. 12 Mystics, along with the men's and women's teams, received the honors.
The criteria for achieving the USTFCCCA Team Scholar award require a team to maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for all student-athletes who use a season of eligibility.
For the USTFCCCA All-Academic award, an athlete must meet a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and achieve an 'A' or 'B' standard in a championship event during the indoor and/or outdoor season.
