Jaden Scott

A native of Bismarck, Jaden Scott enters his fifth year on the Mystics coaching staff and his fourth as Head Coach. During Scott’s tenure as Head Coach, the Mystics have compiled a 95–43 (.688) record, finished in the top three of the Region XIII Tournament each season and twice set school records for conference wins with 18 in 2023 and 20 in 2024.

Scott was also a member of the coaching staff during the Mystics’ record-breaking Region Championship season, when the team advanced to the district tournament and established school records in wins and offensive production, including runs, hits, doubles, triples, home runs, extra-base hits, RBIs, stolen bases, batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage. That season also produced program records in pitching categories such as strikeouts, strikeouts per nine innings and ERA.

During Scott’s time at Bismarck State College, the Mystics have produced two All-Americans, one Conference MVP, seven All-Region selections, and 15 All-Conference honorees. He has coached six players who have advanced to Division I baseball and five who have gone on to play professionally. Over his five seasons on staff, the Mystics have posted a .346 team batting average, recorded 591 extra-base hits and scored 1,576 runs. On the mound, the team has compiled a 5.10 ERA, a .236 opponent batting average and averaged 10.37 strikeouts per nine innings.

Prior to his coaching career at Bismarck State, Scott earned his associate degree from Bismarck State College and his bachelor’s degree from Valley City State University. He also spent the 2020–21 season as a member of the Valley City State University baseball coaching staff.
