Bismarck State College Mystics Athletics

Coach Courtney Olson is from Mandan, ND. She is a Bismarck State College alum and played basketball for the Lady Mystics from 2018-2020. During this time, her honors included two-time Mon-Dak player of the week, 2^nd Team Mon-Dak All-Conference (2019), 1^st Team Mon-Dak All-Conference (2020), and Academic All American. She also set two BSC records (most free throws made in a season and most free throws made in a career).

Coach Olson played women’s basketball for Dickinson State University from 2020-2022. While a BlueHawk, her achievements included NAIA All-American, female athlete of the year, two-time First Team All-Conference, National NAIA player of the week and six-time NAIA player of the week. In addition, she set nice women’s basketball records including most points scored in a game/season, most free-throws in a game/season/career, and most free-throw attempts in a game/season/career/ She obtained a degree from DSU in Agricultural Sales and Service.

From 2022-2024, Coach Olson was an assistant girls’ basketball coach for Killdeer High School.
