TUCSON, Ariz. – Cochise College pulled away in the second half to beat Bismarck State College 90-58 in the Mystics' final game at the Bruce Fleck Classic on Saturday.
Ashton Kinnebrew had another strong effort for BSC with 19 points to lead the Mystics in scoring. She made 7 of 10 free throws. Piper Harris added 14 points and five steals and Katherine Fox chipped in 11 points.
BSC struggled on offense and ended the New Year's eve game hitting just 37 percent from the field. It shot just 33 percent in the first half, while Cochise College was hitting 48 percent and 51 percent in the game. Cochise College's Andjela Bigovic paced her team with 18 points.
The Mystics were 0-3 on their the three-day series of games in Arizona. They are off until playing host to Northwest College Jan. 8 at the Armory.
