Mystics fall to NDSCS

BISMARCK, N.D. – Bismarck State College never got untracked offensively or defensively in an 87-63 Mon-Dak Conference loss to North Dakota State College of Science on Monday at the Armory.

NDSCS (9-2 Mon-Dak, 17-3 overall) won for the ninth time in 10 games behind a balanced offensive effort that featured six double-digit scorers and a defense that held the Mystics (4-7 Mon-Dak, 6-11 overall) to just 44 percent shooting and forced 25 turnovers. The Wildcats shot 57 percent and made 11 of 27 3-point attempts. 

Micah Swallow was the game's leading scorer with 19 points. Five other NDSCS players had between 11 and 13 points.

Jaden Hamilton and Anthony Bertucci led the Mystics. Hamilton had three of his team's seven 3-pointers and 18 points. Bertucci had 16 points and 11 rebounds.

BSC plays at United Tribes on Thursday and is home against Miles Community College on Jan. 30 and Dawson Community College on Feb. 2.
