BISMARCK, N.D. – Bismarck State College left home fans with a sight to remember on Monday, setting a new season high for points in a 113-100 Mon-Dak Conference men's basketball win over United Tribes Technical College at the Armory.
Jaden Hamilton led the way for the Mystics (8-9 Mon-Dak, 10-13 overall), who have won four of their last five games. Hamilton had 29 points and 10 rebounds. He made 13 of 15 shots from the floor. Garrett Bader added career-high 20 points on 8 of 10 shooting. Deonte Martinez came close to cracking the 20-point mark, finishing with 18 points and six assists.
As a team, BSC shot 68 percent from the field and made 8 of 12 3-pointers
Jesse White had 27 points and Sylvester Union 25 for the Thunderbirds (12-5 Mon-Dak, 18-7 overall), who are playing without injured conference scoring leader Famous Lefthand (23.9 points per game).
BSC's previous high scoring game was a 100-60 win over Dickinson State's JV.
The Mystics will be on the road for the last four regular season games.
