Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

NDSCS handles Mystics 82-60

WAHPETON, N.D. – Bismarck State College put up a fight in the first half before North Dakota State College of Science pulled away in the second half to post an 82-60 Mon-Dak Conference men's basketball win.

Kaleb Larson's 24 points for NDSCS led all scorers. All 24 points came from his eight 3-point baskets. For the game, the Wildcats (16-2 Mon-Dak, 24-3 overall) made 11 of 26 3-point attempts while the Mystics (8-10 Mon-Dak, 10-14 overall) were just 3-for-13 while shooting 46 percent overall.

Although they never led, the Mystics were still within 39-31 at the half. But the Wildcats pulled away in the second half, thanks in part to a rebounding advantage that reached 35-20 by the end of the game.

Deonte Martinez led the way for BSC with 18 points. He made seven of his 10 shots from the field and all four free throws. Jayden Bernard had 13 points and Garrett Bader 10.

The Mystics' next game is Monday at Miles Coummunity College.
