Dawson sweeps BSC women

GLENDIVE, Mont. – Dawson Community College broke out the hitting sticks Friday and swept. MonDak Conference women's softball doubleheader from Bismarck State College.

Due to wet and snowy field conditions in Bismarck, the Mystics were back in Montana where they will play until local conditions improve.

On Friday, the Buccaneers rained runs on the Mystics, winning by scores of 29-3 in game two and 12-0 in the opener. Gracie Gunderson had BSC's only hit in the first game.

Five different BSC players collected hits in the nightcap, with Dominique Baker having a double and an RBI. Cambrie Pretzer also drove in a run.

The Mystics (1-7, 3-16) play Williston State College in a doubleheader on Saturday.
