WAHPETON, N.D. – North Dakota State College of Science swept a MonDak Conference women's softball doubleheader from Bismarck State College 6-0 and 14-3 on Saturday.
Katelyn Strauss tossed a no-hitter in the opener. The only thing keeping it from a perfect game was an error by the Wildcats. Brooklyn Benno surrendered nine hits in the loss.
In the second game, five different DSC players collected a hit. Cambrie Pretzer had a double and knocked in a run. Benno and Hannah Fischer also drove in runs. Julie Dysart took the loss fo BSC.
The Mystics (5-17 MonDak, 7-26 overall) finish the regular season Sunday against Williston State College at Cottonwood Field. Game times are 1 and 3 p.m.
