The Bismarck State College volleyball team secured another impressive conference victory, defeating Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) in a decisive 3-0 match. The triumph extends the Mystics' remarkable season record to 8-0 in conference play and 17-1 overall.
The Mystics again showcased their skill on the court, winning with scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 25-15. Caton Pearcy led the team with a commendable performance, accumulating nine kills, four service aces, and seven digs.
Shayna Roach contributed to the team's success with five service aces, applying pressure on DCB from the service line. Chelsa Krom was integral in the team's defense, participating in four blocks, including one solo block and three assisted blocks.
Setting the stage for the Mystics' attack, Kate Zimmer orchestrated the offense with precision, delivering 16 assists while also contributing 12 digs to the team's defensive efforts. Reese Duchsherer added to the offensive firepower with eight kills and nine assists, further solidifying the team's dominance in the match.
The Mystics travel to Boone, IA to compete in the DMACC Invitational on October 4 and 5.
