The Bismarck State College Mystics volleyball team kicked off their season with an impressive start, not losing a game in their opening matches against Williston State College and Lake Region State College. Both matches concluded with decisive 3-0 wins in favor of the Mystics.
In their season opener against the Williston State College Tetons, the Mystics set the tone with commanding game scores of 25-14, 25-15, and 25-13. Asiah Gross emerged as a standout player, leading the team in kills with a total of 11. Maya Vibeto also made significant contributions to the team's defense, recording 17 digs.
Continuing their winning streak, the Mystics faced Lake Region State College and secured another 3-0 victory with game scores of 25-15, 25-14, and 25-19. Chelsa Krom led the offensive charge with 11 kills, while Kate Zimmer orchestrated the team's plays with 25 assists.
The Mystics return to the court Friday August 23 at 11 a.m. against Dickinson State JV and then again at 7 p.m. against North Idaho.
