BISMARCK, N.D. — The Bismarck State College Volleyball team dropped a three-set match to No.4 Providence (Mont.) on Friday evening, falling 25-16, 25-18, 25-18 in front of packed BSC Armory. Fans came out to support a good cause as the Mystics were wearing their alternate neon green jerseys, which were being auctioned-off post game to raise money for mental health awareness, with proceeds benefitting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's North Dakota chapter.
As for the game, the Mystics (2-8, 0-6) battled throughout but were held to a .028 hitting percentage as errors stalled offensive momentum. Chelsa Krom led BSC with eight kills on .389 hitting and finished with a team-high 10.5 points. Reese Duchsherer also added eight kills and nine points, while Dedra Wood chipped in five kills.
In the assists column, Delaney Deschamp led the team with 16 on the night. Defensively, libero Piper Harris anchored the back row with a match-high 19 digs, followed by Kate Zimmer with nine.

The Mystics return to action tomorrow, Saturday Sept. 19, as they welcome Montana State University-Northern.
