BISMARCK, N.D. – Bismarck State continued their indoor track and field season at their first meet post-New Year with a strong all-around showing at the Marauders 2026 Indoor Opener, highlighted by multiple event wins, NAIA-ranked marks and point-scoring depth across the roster.

The Mystics posted victories on the men's side from Keaton Saastad in the 300 meters (37.09), Cayden Kraftin the 400 meters (48.91) and Xavier Bell in the 800 meters (1:56.34), while Connor Ensign and Jakson Ensign followed closely behind to give BSC a 1-2-3 finish in the event. Bell's time helped him set a new BSC record in the 800m run. The men also swept the top spot in the 4x400 relay, with the 'A' squad clocking a winning time of 3:31.55.
Freshman Jace Lovely delivered a victory in the men's 60-meter hurdles in 8.49 after qualifying alongside Nicholas Pegors, who recorded a new NAIA No. 14 mark in the prelims with a blazing 8.23. Pegors added points in the high jump and long jump, while Austin Privratsky posted a 6.56m in the long jump, which put him as the top freshman finisher and ranked 10th in the Frontier Conference.
On the women's side, Priviledge Bower claimed first in the 150 meters (18.71), and Alexia Anderson earned a win in the triple jump with a NAIA No. 25 mark while also scoring in the 60 meters. Tsitsi Karanda led the Mystics in the 800 meters with a runner-up finish, and the women's 4x400 relay placed second overall.
Additional podium finishes came from Mercedes Lura in the pole vault, Dedra Wood in the 60-meter hurdles and Katelynn Folvag in the 300 meters, as BSC opened the indoor season with momentum across sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws and relays.
