HELENA, Mont. – Bismarck State (N.D.) and Dakota State (S.D.) were listed on the seventh installment of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Players-of-the-Week honors, announced by the conference office Monday.
Kennedy Stormer, a senior guard, was selected as the Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.
Stormer continued her string of strong offensive performances with back-to-back 20-plus point outings for Bismarck State (N.D.). She scored 23 points and dished out two assists in a 65-52 setback at (RV) Providence (Mont.). She followed up with 27 points on 9-of-19 from the field, including 4-of-8 from the 3-point line, and hit 5-of-6 free-throws in 104-80 defeat at (RV) MSU-Northern. She also contributed five assists and recorded her first double-double of the season with 10 rebounds.
For the week, Stormer averaged 25.0 points and 3.5 assists per game for the Mystics.
This is Stormer's third consecutive Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award, after winning Offensive Player of the Week
last week, and Defensive Player of the Week
two weeks ago.
Eight games into the season, Stormer currently leads the team in scoring with 22.9 points per game.
Up next for her and the women's team will be a trip to Grand Forks on Tuesday, Dec. 9 to take on the Division-I North Dakota Fighting Hawks (1-9). That game will begin at 7 p.m. from Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.
They'll follow that up with road conference matchups against No. 16 Carroll (Mont.) and No. 15 Rocky Mountain (Mont.) on Dec. 12 and 13. BSC will close the month with a Dec. 31 crosstown trip to face UMary (N.D.), and will return home on Friday, Jan. 2, at 5 p.m. to host Montana Tech.
