BISMARCK, N.D. – The Bismarck State College baseball team, under the direction of fourth-year head coach Jaden Scott, has announced its schedule for the 2026 spring season as the program continues its first year of competition at the NAIA level.

"We're excited about the opportunity in front of us this season, and I think we showed a lot of growth and potential this fall," Scott said. "With 17 games against teams that qualified for the NAIA Tournament Opening Round last year, our schedule is going to challenge us every week, and that's exactly what we want as we continue building this program."

Bismarck State will open the spring slate in 37 days, hitting the road to take on Hesston (Kan.) for a four-game doubleheader on Feb. 21–22.

The Mystics are scheduled to play 41 games in the spring, as they build off their six-game fall slate, where they went 3-3 and earned their first NAIA victory in their first game on Sept. 16.

The team will play their first Frontier Conference games on March 21 at the Frontier Conference Jamboree at Sanford Sports Complex in Sioux Falls, S.D. There, they'll play Dakota State (S.D.) and preseason No. 22, Bellevue (Neb.), along with their first conference games against familiar foes, Valley City State (N.D.) and Mayville State (N.D.).

The Mystics will play 14 home games against five different opponents at Haaland Field, beginning March 25 when they welcome Jamestown (N.D.). BSC's final home game is scheduled for April 25 against Bellevue before the Frontier Conference Tournament, which runs April 30–May 3 at Dakota Community Bank & Trust Ballpark in Dickinson, N.D.

On Thursday, Jan. 15, Scott will represent the Mystics at the Frontier Conference virtual media day, joined by pitcher Eli Thompson and utility infielder Pacey Phillips. Fans can watch their segment live from 12:15–12:30 p.m. CT on the Frontier Conference YouTube channel.
