HELENA, Mont. – Bismarck State (N.D.) and Valley City State (N.D.) were listed on the seventh edition of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Softball weekly awards, announced by the conference office Monday.
Kathryn Sliman, a sophomore pitcher from Gooding, Idaho, was named the Pitcher-of-the-Week.
Sliman tossed 8 2/3 total innings in the Frontier Conference four-game series home opener with Carroll (Mont.), earning a 3-1 record for Bismarck State (N.D.).
She allowed just one run and struck out four Fighting Saints. Silman posted an earned run average of 0.81 in the series and picked up two pitching wins for the Mystics
This is Sliman's first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Up next for her and the softball team is their second conference series of the year, as they head to Great Falls, Mont. to take on the Providence Argos (10-15, 2-2). Friday's doubleheader begins at 3 p.m. CT and Saturday's starts at 1 p.m. CT.
Following that series, they travel to Dickinson State (N.D.) on Tuesday, March 31, for a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. CT. They return home later that week and host a four-game set against Valley City State (N.D.) on Thursday and Friday, April 2-3.
