BISMARCK, N.D. -- Bismarck State junior setter Aislyn Hogan has been named the Frontier Conference's Setter of the Week following her performance at the Siouxland Invitational, the league announced this week.

Hogan directed the Mystics' offense to a 2-2 record over four matches in North Sioux City, S.D., averaging 9.5 assists per set while piling up 133 assists on the weekend. The Indiana University East transfer also chipped in 11 kills, eight service aces, 27 digs and 10 total blocks across the four-match stretch.

Hogan opened the weekend with 38 assists and three aces in BSC's straight-set win over Haskell (Kan.), then followed with 16 assists in a straight-set loss to Dordt (Iowa). She turned in 33 assists in a sweep of Clarke (Iowa) before closing the tournament with 46 assists in a five-set battle against Briar Cliff (Iowa), where she also hit .400 on the attack with five kills, added five aces and finished with 11 digs.

The honor marks Hogan's first career Frontier Conference Player-of-the-Week recognition, and the second for the BSC volleyball program after Piper Harris earned defender of the week at the end of last season.

Hogan and the Mystics now turn their attention to next Saturday's home opener against Mount Marty (S.D.), the first-ever volleyball match at the Bavendick Center.
